Bachelor of Design | Visual Communication Design

After finishing her Degree at Massey University in Wellington Casie worked in Wellington at a local magazine. She then moved to Sydney for 5 years to further her career in design, marketing and website development before moving back to New Zealand to work in an agency here.

In 2019 she set up her own design business from the home garage. 10 years later she has a great team supporting the work they do.

Casie has a love for working with local businesses to help them thrive. She looks at the whole approach and story a business has to bring that vision to life. Casie believes it’s not about having the loudest marketing but the most authentic to your brand which sets you apart from the rest.

Diploma in Creative Technologies

Chloe has 10 years experience working as a graphic and web designer in New Plymouth. She has a strong understanding of the Taranaki market.

She has worked for agencies as a brand designer, marketer and web developer.

Chloe has also worked in house as a marketing manager for a local clothing brand. Which involved branding, design and advertising.

Aaron has worked for Design Garage for 10 years and has over 15 years working in the industry as a website developer.

He has worked for fast paced web development companies creating large websites with complex functionality.

Aaron has worked on website development for a range of different businesses around NZ. Including a recent large database website for the Taranaki Base Hospital.

Our Story

Casie started Design Garage in 2015. Our first studio was built in our home Garage. But today we now work in large garage in Fitzroy, New Plymouth. Casie’s vision was to create a design company that focused on the growth of businesses within the Taranaki region.

From the very beginning, Casie’s vision was clear: to build a design company dedicated to helping businesses in the Taranaki region thrive and grow. She believed in the power of good design to transform businesses, making them more appealing to customers and more efficient in their operations.

This focus on local business growth has always been at the heart of what we do.
