If you have your own website this may be something sitting in the back of your mind, or on your ‘to do’ list to look into.
Well, to take away some of the confusion surrounding it, we have simplified the process so if you’re feeling up to it, you can do it yourself!
- To optimise your website for Search engines it is necessary to research the keywords people are searching for that will lead them to your pages.
- Once you have chosen your keyword/s for each page, integrate them throughout your webpage.
- The keywords can then be included in the following places for Google to read, and begin showing your website in their search results:
H1 Heading
H2 Heading
Paragraph
Meta title
Meta description
URL
Alt text (images)
Here’s an example using the keyword: Silicone Wristbands.
So there you have it, SEO may not be as complicated as you first thought.
